Cigar Bars / Shops San Francisco

Hey there,

Im planning a trip to SF and was wondering if anyone could recommend cigar bars or chill out joints where I could enjoy a smoke, and if there are any shops you could recommend, Im all ears too.

There is Cigar bar&grill. That's the oy spot I go to smoke in sf, I'm not really aware of any others. They have a small overpriced selection but they definitely include some quality cigars. I usually take my own cigars but buy food and drinks. I don't know of any cigar shops in sf I usually go to Hemmingway in palo alto or Knickerbockers in menlo park. However those two shops are pretty far from sf. Definitely check out "cigar bar"!

I lived in the City several years ago, but didnt smoke a lot then. One place stands out though:

"850 Montgomery" : 850 Montgomery Street

They have cigar dinners and are very cigar friendly. You have to be careful in San Fran though. Since the 1998 anti stuff, it's best to call before going anywhere as things can change overnight.

Also try:

"North Beach Restaurant" :1512 Stockton St., between Green and Union

There's a nice smoking area downstairs with a good, reasonably priced selection.
Great thing about No Beach though is that there's lots of incredible food everywhere.

Since the demise of New Orleans, San Fran is the best food town in the Country. 1700 restaurants in 49sq mi. The competition for the culinary dollar is vicious.
