Guess I am just lucky, and have a natural tolerance for nicotine. Have never had any ill effects from it, and smoke nothing but stronger cigars. Make sure your diabetes is well controlled, and build up to strong cigars.

Sounds like what happened. Again, though, my question remains, is there a difference, then, between body and strength? I'm definitely looking for a complex taste but without the kick-in-the-pants strength.

One example of this is the Cabaiguan. It is a very satisfying cigar and I would place it in the Med/Full bodied category while at the same time being a medium strength at best.

Re: Dizziness and nausea last night

I am a fairly new smoker and have had this happen to me twice already. The first was a combination of things. I was slightly dehydrated had only eaten a small dinner. I smoked an Mx2 and was leaving the smoke in my mouth for a while. I was taken out for a solid 2 hours, dizzy, nauseous you name it.

The second time was my birthday. I had a mild cigar at lunch and then went to a tasting after work. I had an Oliva O and my final cigar of the night was a AB MAXX Ego. The things was the length of a souvenir baseball bat. Got home feeling pretty rough.

In both cases a spoon of sugar helped considerably.

It sucks though it's something that makes you kind of intimidated to smoke the next time. Not a feeling you want to associate with relaxation.

Re: Dizziness and nausea last night

Last cigar that did that to me was a MOW. Smoked it right off the truck and I quickly determined that those SOB`s where going to rest along time before I try another one.

I too tend to prefer a medium strength cigar and its just matter of trying whats out there and seeing what suits you best. I do look and see if the seller will tell me about the strength before I purchase (if I dont already know), and usually stay away from anything that lists the strength as full.

Cheers,
Randy
