disappointed
one of my favorite cigars in the JdN Antano 1970 Robusto Grande (I've been smoking them since they came out), they were an EXCELLENT $4.30 cigar (thats what a B&M around richmond was selling them for)...
Now, they are $8 a stick?  I was expecting the $.40 a stick tax increase which was fine, BUT $4? No way.anyone else have a good stick turn to overpriced turd? (the JdN is still good but not $8 good)

Hey Zack you SOB, long time no see!
I think somebody posted on here the other day (could have been 2 to 4 weeks ago) that the JdN went up on price not just because of the new tax but also because the company hasn't raised prices in years and now are adjusting the price to reflect the cost of making them. How true is that? Who really knows. By the way I know its not the same as walking into a local and grabbing it off the shelve but Serious has them for $6.75. I know not $4.30 but better then $8.

thanks for the links...Atlantic is rockin them at a great price...
as for the "reason" the price increase happened when the old stocks were out after Drew Estate started importing them...I guess the new importer carries a premium
