Any fans of Henry Clay?

These have been one of my go-to cigars for several years. Nice & creamy with no bite, just an overall pleasant, reliable smoke.

Am I the only one?

Re: Any fans of Henry Clay?

I've never had one. I don't think I've ever even seen one. Not at the b&m's I've been to. I've never seen a daily deal with them. I would try one if I came across it.

Hope you enjoy them!

I noticed that the five pack is actually cheaper per stick than the box, at least for the toro.

Re: Any fans of Henry Clay?

One of the local B&M's had a box of the Brevas that were sitting on the bottom shelf way back in the corner. These things had so much plume on them they were almost white. Needless to say they sold out the same day I saw them.

While not a great cigar they are a solid smoke for the money.

So not fair, wish I would've found them!

JR also has vintage HC's, as old as 1987.......I wonder how those are?

I used to be quite fond of the robusto sized Mirabelle with the H2000 wrapper. Unfortunately, they were closed out a few years ago.

Henry Clay? The great compromiser! (sorry for the random US history insert)

Don't know anything about the cigar, but I have seen them and I laugh at the name every time, like really...

Who wouldn't chuckle?

Re: Any fans of Henry Clay?

I've had them a few times, they are a good solid smoke for the money. I have to say the consrtuction is awesome. One of the heaviest cigars I have ever smoked. Hmmm this has me thinking I may have to re-vist them soon.

I like the Hondurans. Haven't tried the Dominicans in a while, maybe a couple years. I think I'll go get a few and enjoy them.
This used to be a Cuban brand, but after the revolution Che Guevara stopped their production. Seems he didn't care too much for the good ole U.S. of A.

Anyway, it's a good smoke. IMHO
