What is the ring gauge purpose on my profile?

I know I probably should have read this somewhere. I noticed that longer time members have high numbers that newer ones. I've also seen -'s. I noticed that mine went up a few points. What is the purpose of this and should I get mine higher? If so, then how do I do it.

It is basically a system where members rate each other. If someone likes a post you made they may give you a RG bump. If someone is acting like an a$$hat then their RG may get taken away from. This is done by the members and is not done by the mods or admin except in the same capacity as a member. The higher your # is the more it gives or tkes away from the person you are giving/deducting from.

I think I can give around 100 at a time and when you take away it is half that number.

Do not read too much into it as it basically means very little. It is not to be used to judge the character of a member.

Also I meant to add, if you want to give or deduct from a members RG you just click on the little icon below their trader feedback where the little icon is a check/X symbol. A small window will appear where you can add or deduct and state the reason why.

Just make sure that you have the right option checked if you want to add or deduct.

When somebody gives you a RG Bump, isn't there a way to see the comment they gave as fas as why they gave or took away from?
I saw it a while back and can not remember where I saw how to see it at.
