I do enjoy the JR catalog, but usually download it from their web-site.
I usually buy from the Selma NC location. About 40 min from my house, and I have found the staff to be very friendly. It's a nice ride down I95 and easier than going into Raleigh.
I do have a couple questions though. On the JR website, they list the B&M stores in NC but not those in NY and NJ. Are they not related?
From their Bio it says they own three stores in NC. I assume they are company owned and the rest are franchises.

Re: J.R.'s Catalog

I think the JR catalog used to be a much more fun read 10 years ago. I think it has gotten a little too slick and fancy looking. Still some of Lew's unique commentary, but seems to me not as much as years ago, not as funny. Seems to have gone from cool and quirky to glossy and formal, IMHO.

I cut my teeth on J R site along with many others--They have some very good deals at times.

Re: J.R.'s Catalog

I just received my first catalog from them, and I'm very impressed with it. I took advantage of the robusto mania deal they had last month.
