Partagus Black Label...Worth It?

The Clasico is one of my regular smokes. Not daily, but I always get 1-2 whenever I'm at the B&M, where they are $12-14 each. I need to buy a box of them and be done with it. I bought a brick of Prontos several months ago. They'll give you a good swift kick when you're short on time.

Thats weird, because i really enjoy the partagus black label, but did not care for the brazilia one bit, maybe i got a bad stick? I have 4 more in my humi that i don't even want to try because i had such a bad experience with the first one.

interesting you mention that, but i had the same experience I recently tried a CAO Brazillia Gol, and was one of the worst cigars I had.

extremely tight draw, uneven burn, wrapper started to crack, and it just had no taste to it. I never even finished mine and ended up throwing mine out.

I've had mixed results with the Brazilia...One I thought was really good, another I don't even think I finished. I've still got a few more laying around that I'll smoke when the mood hits me.

Yes! Spicy/Peppery, coffee, leather, and a little chocolate. Very full flavored. This is the one that started me down the slope most recently as well. A lot of very good and well marketed cigars have hit the scene since Partagas Black; plus you'll occasionally get one that's tough to draw; therefore this very good cigar has lost some of it's luster in recent times. I keep them at 63-64% and rarely have a problem. It has a flavor like no other, however, and will always have a place in my humi.

If anyone's still awake, the Classicos just popped up on Joe's Jam, 10/$35, and I had to buy a pack of them. Don't worry, I left a few for you guys.

I had one once... Never again!!!! They were a little TOO full-flavored for me. Made me nauseous! Actually I'm thinking about trying one again because my palate and capability to smoke stronger sticks has grown since I started smoking cigars seriously. BTW Joe's Jumbalaya = Bucanero Red now. Never heard of em but only 20 bucks for a bundle of possibly good Cuban sandwiches...
