Famous Nic. 3000 Burn Problems

I ordered a bundle of Famous Nic. 3000's about 2 weeks ago and decided to fire one up last night. It tasted great but I had problems with it tunneling and burning straight. I had a Padron just prior to the 3000 and it burned nice and straight so I dont think it is an issue with storage. Has anyone else encountered this problem with these? What else could it be?

Maybe just a bum one? I've had probably 10 of these so far (robustos) and all had good to great burns.

Some times a cigar just does this. Frustrating as all get out. Try a few more out of the bundle and see how they burn. One in a while ya just get a stick with a bad roll, or a stem or any number of things that will cause them to burn incorrectly.

I a forgot to add that I had problems keeping it lit too. I just thought I'd ask because I've heard such good things about these.

Had the same problem when I first got them, maybe a little wet. After a few weeks in the humi they smoked just fine. Try and dry box one for a couple of days.

I think that is one of the reasons that they are so well reviewed. Great taste and burn for little $.
Hopefully it was just one bad example.
