My package finally arrived...

The daily deal a buddy and myself ordered on Saturday just arrived! I fully inspected each stick, they all look fine except for some very slight wrinkles on a couple of sticks(not uncommon, I've seen this in regular B&M shops) that won't hinder smoking. The thing about these RP Vintage 1990 Churchills is though...they all smell and look fantastic. I just clipped the cap of one and did a quick draw test and got a bunch of cocoa and pepper on my palate, not to mention a perfect draw and excellent construction.

I've smoked these before but it's probably been about 2 years since I last had one. Gonna go fire it up, then maybe smoke another if everything goes smoothly and later on I might go pick up a Oliva Series V Double Toro.

I am so glad I finally have something to smoke and relax to, its been terrible around here. A family member just died on Tuesday, my grandmother to be exact, and that certainly didn't help the stress levels I and my family have been dealing with. My mother is just now getting back from California where the rest of my relatives live so she could see her mother one last time.

It's been terrible, but I think this smoke will make things a little bit better...not to mention a much needed dose of Vitamin N.

Wowzers, this is an awesome stick! Ton's of flavor and we are just barely into the first third! Pepper, cocoa, and a certain spiciness with a pleasurable and light tobacco flavor. TONS OF SMOKE! And the smoke smells DELICIOUS.

This day is looking so MUCH BETTER.

Wow this is cigar is great, half way through the 1st third now and the initial flavors moved into the background(except for the pepper and spiciness) and are now replaced with cedar, light coffee and espresso as well as citrus flavors with a bit of a sweetness... I think that probably comes from the maduro wrapper. This 7 x 48 box pressed honey smokes cool as well, very pleasurable so far. You can look forward to my full review today sometime.

Glad you like these,,,have you heard about the "seconds" of this particular cigar? I buy them all the time and see no difference and I buy them all the time and it saves me enough money where I can buy twice as much.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your grandmother,,,,mine was very important to me and when I think of her I( which is often ) I smoke one in honor to her. She would always tell me how much she liked the smell of cigars. I really miss her.

Thank you, that really means a lot as my Grandmother was very important to me as well. She didn't know I smoked though... If remember correctly though she smoked cigarettes a lot.

RP Vint. 90 Churchills are very nice flavorfull smokes, they rank right up in the top 5 here. I miss my grandmother too. I guess we probably all do.

Hey David, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, brother. My grandma died 2 years ago and I still miss her a lot. I've got no grandparents left, but I know that all the friends and family I've lost are looking down at me and smiling.
