Camacho Coyolar Puro Perfecto
Well, I received a package from a fellow BOTL named SCS who graciously gifted me a Perfecto sized Coyolar Puro. However, because I live with my parents(I turned 19 a few weeks ago) they totally flipped out that someone on an internet forum sent us a package. So, after a large yelling match where a lot of things were said I decided to smoke away my anger as it has been a tough day for all of us here.
As to the reason he gifted it, it was because I had smoked two Coyolar Puro titans and did not like them. Again, THANK YOU SCS! I really appreciated this cigar, as it means a lot that someone would be kind enough to send me one. Even though it caused quite a bit of grief, it was still worth it. Anyway, to the review! Pre-light: Well, I had to clip this thing quite a bit to get a good draw but I kind of expect that with such an oddly shaped cigar. The wrapper on this perfecto is quite beautiful and flawless, it smells very peppery with a hint of barnyard, the same smells eminate from the foot of the cigar. The overall construction is pretty good, the cigar is very firm and there is no flaws that I can see on the wrapper. The flavor's in the pre-light draw were that of wood and spice, not bad. 1st Third: Very even burn, lot's of wood and pepper through the nose and a little on the palate. This stick is already looking up compared to its bigger brother. Overall, a pretty basic stick so far nothing terribly outstanding but definitely nothing bad. 2nd Third: Pretty much the same as the above, just a bit mellower and a slight bitter flavor that wasn't unpleasant. Final Third: Same as the 1st and 2nd but with the added flavor of leather and a bit of a rough finish on the palate. Conclusion: Not a bad cigar, but nothing really "wowed" me but it was DEFINITELY more enjoyable then its bigger brother the Coyolar Puro Titan 6X60 monster stick. Again, thanks to SCS for his generosity it was highly appreciative and I hope that I may return the favor someday, when I buy some of the things on my list towards the end of this month or next month I'll make sure to remember you and perhaps send some things your way SCS. ![]() I'd give it an 88/100, not a bad one but just not to my liking I think.
