I don't know how many of you have experienced the
How many of those things do you need Do you know how much $$$ you spend on those things a month. This is getting ridiculous ! Are you on that cigar site again. I thought you said you were set for the year. What are all those beads for In an attempt to make life easier, I set up accounts with vendors in my sons name and deliveries are sent to him....... Has anyone else had to go to this extreme. I love this gal,,,,,she just doesn't love my "pass-time" Al Semper-Fi |

Welcome to the club. My wife doesn't give me too much problems but she doesn't really know how many cigars I have. I get to my PO box first and I keep extra humi's at work. I get the feeling she'd be pissed if she truly knew what was happening. lol

Oh Hell Yeah I understand what you are talking about !!! Mine orders crap from all over the place, I get one little box from cbid or any other cigar site and you would think i just received a box nuclear waste and then I get argue about this purchase for a week.

I get it too once in a while but I ignore her. I've told her before, "At least I'm not spending hundreds on more music equipment, or hundreds on telescope eyepieces". I say cigars are relatively cheap compared to the stuff I've bought in the past. Besides, I don't spend hundreds a month on cigars anyway. And she too likes to shop so she has no place complaining to me about me lowly cigars.
 If she goes on about it I honestly tell her to mind her own business and that it's my money to spend. Yeah I know, when married it's really "our" money, but my play money is my play money. Besides, I pay all the bills and always on time so no harm comes from buying some cigars here and there.Rev. |

I had a call from a well known online cigar smoker a few years back (I won't mention his name). He informed me during the call that his wife had found his credit card bill for the previous month's cigar purchases & she was pissed.
I asked "How much did you spend Bob?" (The name has been changed to protect the guilty) "$4700.00," he replied. ROFLMAO

I've been having about one a night, becuase of the nice weather, and I get "You stink, change your clothes" and "Your smoking is getting to be a bit much".

Well, my new-found cigar hobby hasn't been a perfect substitute for the ex-fiancee, but they're a lot cheaper, they're not bat-shit crazy, and I don't come home from work and find out someone else has been smoking them, if you get my meaning.

We each have our own amount of personal spend money. I don't give her crap about the miscellaneous stuff she drags home from garage sales and she doesn't bother me about buying stuff as long as it's from the ps stash.
Really in the scheme of things my cigars (or brewing supplies) are no more than she spends for make-up, hair dresser or special shampoo. Periodically I mention that, politely, and she takes the hint to back off. It's all good! |

HAHA this is too funny, I honestly can say I am glad Im not married, and Im young enough to where if an girlfriend were to give me crap I would tell her to mind her own damn business!! LOL
