Suggetions Please from a newbie, Kinda :)

Hi
It took courage but I ventured out of the newbie intro thread to join the big boy's with a question or two.

1. My favorites are cohiba all of them I haven't met a cohiba I didn't like yet!

2. Partagas- mostly black tubos.

3. LA AURORA PREFERIDOS TUBED

4 Opus X

5. 90/92 rocky patel

That's a small list of my usual smokes, As you can imagine I bought about all I could from JR but they are limited in what they sell though they have some decent prices.

I'm now on the monthly cigar club at CI, so now knowing what I like I would love some suggestions of others to try, So suggestions based on my likes would be ever so kind and help me to cut to the point without going broke.

I don't get to the shops much and order mostly online so other decent honest websites would be cool to.

I have done a decent amount of research so I am asking to further my integration among my fellow Cigar Nuts and as a way to let you all get to know me.

I would also be willing to share or trade if I have something you all would like. I see that as a common and very cool thing happening here!

My goal in my collection is to have a ten year supply of ten year or older cigars, I am about half way or a bit more there now. So when the day happens that I get run off at work and my income drops I won't have to hang at the corner holding a cardboard sign saying will work for a decent cigar!

Thanks

Dave/smelvis

Welcome Dave... First question... You list Bellevue as your place of residence... Is that WA or NE? Just curious.

Second, a few cigars I would probably recommend are the Ashton VSGs, CAO Italias, and Brazilias, G.A.Rs, Cains, Oliva Conneticut, Series G and Series V, Alec Bradley Tempus, Drew Estate Liga Privada #9, and the Montecristo Whites.

Oh and the Rocky Patel, Rennasance, Old World Reserves and Decades are good too.

I'm a fan of most of what you listed and I also fully enjoy Don Pepin Garcia Blue label and Black label.

Seems to me that you like Dominican cigars, so just going by that here you go.

Ashtons. try from the reg line to the VSGs.
Cuesta Rey
Davidoff
Diamond Crown
La Flor Dominicana
Leon Jimenes
Litto Gomez
Mi Dominicana

If I was you I would start with the Mi Dominicana and Litto Gomez, they are both Dominican puros. I never hear the Mi Dominincana being talked about in forums but I'm telling you this is a very good Dominican Puro and I can't understand why it doesn't get more attention. I guess they just don't market it very good.

Welcome bud.
I saw you said you have tried some CAOs; if you havent tried a saprano you should give it a shot. I am very pleased with that as well as CAO golds, ashtons, and olivias are my current favorites right now. I tend to buy 2 I know I like and 2 that I have yet to try from my local Cigar shop.

I just ordered the Soprano deal and got some RP's decades free. I am slowly buying sample of all the recommendations, appreciate it.

Join some of Noobie PIFs and trades. Great way to share you favorite smokes and get some new and different ones to try without laying out any cash (unless you are like me and use stuff like that as an excuse to go shopping.)
