Another cool thing about the USPS, is the "Click and Ship" feature...just fill it out, pay the postage, and print it and zippooramdamablabiiing, attach the label and give it to the mailman. You can even schedule a pickup so the driver knows it's there and will come to the door/wherever you leave it, or, like I said before, you can just give it to him when he wanders by. It's the ultimate in convenience for my .

ditto * 2.

USPS delivers on Saturday, UPS doesn't. If I Jam on a Thursday, the USPS will deliver it on Saturday. My Cbid orders shipped via UPS don't get here to Columbus until the following Monday while they reach the Columbus hub on Friday night. So my Cbid orders sit is a hot warehouse for and extra 2 days.

Re: CI's New shipping?

I've never had any problems with USPS either. I've only had one occasion where a cbid order was a day or two late. They ususally got here on Saturdays, and it had come on Monday.

Once in awhile you will get a dinged up box. It just happens and that is the risk everyone is willing to take when purchasing anything online.

I have had good luck with both.

Have a part of shipment go usps from cbid. Still has not arrived and they tell me I must wait 6 weeks before they will do anything.
As of now, all my business is with famous smoke shop. I order before 1500 one day and its one my doorstep by 1000 the next morning.
Screw ci cbid, they will never ever see another penny from me.
Muchr regards Jerry

Re: CI's New shipping?

Here's a thought - Since nobody here can actually do anything about it, have you tried calling CI to see if they'll change the shipping to your peferred carrier? I have done this in the past with stellar results.

+1. I've always received prompt & courteous service from CI/CBID. Just give 'em a call and let 'em know how you feel. They'll take care of you.

Who would've thunk it, a government run institution providing just as good or better/faster service than private companies at a reasonable price.

P.S. I love the United States Postal Service.

Re: CI's New shipping?

I agree with most here, USPS is the way to go. Besides I'm never freaking home for anybody else to drop something off, and only USPS will ship to my beloved PO Box! Which every freaking website would at least make USPS an option.

Re: CI's New shipping?

I live in Bellevue WA and JR quit shipping UPS because they were giving our personal info to the state, I like USPS myself but I use a po box.

I just received my 1st order today from CI, I ordered on the 11th and thought the turn around was fine. I did try and order some vectra for my new desktop lighter and they said it would have to come UPS, so maybe it's a tax or just a basic change. I would just call them and ask.
