I want some sort of effort, not to easy but I have to feel and experience what I am doing in the process. That's the way a cigar should feel....my opinion.

Re: The "Perfect Draw"

Nice and easy with just a slight bit of resistance so there is gradual pull.

GUILTY!!! In my defense it's a cold day here in Northern New Brunswick and my shirt is kind of heavy... I had to see how it would draw! I actually did it twice to make sure I'd enjoy a comparable cigar... and I would!

yep me too I vote the sweatshirt type draw. I think the padron X000 line has among the lightest airy draws of any cigar!? yes?

Re: The "Perfect Draw"

As a pipe smoker I prefer an open draw, even with 'gars. However, some consider a stick with an open draw to be poorly rolled (harder to keep lit, and so on). A resistance would prove the roller was awake and paying attention. But my personal opinion is that each brand/size is unique in draw. Padrons, as others have mentioned, feels wide open yet burns perfectly. Others vary, even a tight draw in some sticks can actually work better. So, not withstanding plugged individual defective sticks, any draw is a good draw.

Slight resistance with lots of smoke. Nothing worse than a cheek caver.

Re: The "Perfect Draw"

I'd rather have a firm draw than feel like Im sucking air. I actually enjoy all reasonable draws. The best draw I've had recently was on a Camacho Conneticut 11/18. Perfect, start to finish.

I like an easy effortless draw with a little resistance to it so as to add to the relaxing quality of the experience. I don't like having to work at it too much.

Re: The "Perfect Draw"

I describe cigars' draws in one of 3 ways: Easy draw, Firm, or Tight. I don't like tight since it irritates my taste buds to be pulling them off of my tongue by sucking so hard. Too easy a draw doesn't work best for me either. I like a slightly firm draw the best. I guess that would be like sucking through a shirt.
