CI's Make Me an Offer
Anyone ever use the make me an offer section of the CI website? I was curious to know what a good percentage of the MSRP would be good to start with? What range do they generally accept?

I've used it and obviously they have not taken any of my offers. I use CBID and get what i want at the offers I put in.

It really depends on the cigar. I've had some success with this; got a 5-box of Felipe Gregorio Icons for 20 bucks or so (MSRP $95). You really can't go by MSRP on many things, especially with such a variable-demand market as cigars (I think?). Check other vendors, or even Cigarcyclopedia to know what the average price of the item is, then always go low-ball first. Work in small increments (concessions), and eventually you'll find either you'll get the item for cheaper-than usual, or you can go to a different vendor.

I only tried it once, and they didn't even respond, much less accept. I offered them about 60% of their normal catalog price.
