Problems with my Palio

I have the second generation cutter after losing the first one in a move.got both of them in group buys.Anyway the first problem I encountered was having the BOTL emblem fall out from one side.I contacted the guys and they were nice enough to replace the emblem.I super glued that one in place, but now the second emblem has fallen out and is lost.most importantly is the second problem I have encountered.I took the 2 halves of the cutter apart several days ago to to clean and dry lube the respective slide channels and both blades fell off the body of the cutter. It is apparent how they were affixed to the ABS with a small dollep of glue, and that glue has failed. It hasnt become a problem yet.I reassembled the cutter,(havent reglued the blades yet),and it is working fine.I really like my Palio and I know I can reattach the blades without any real issue.Thought I would give yall a heads up.It might happen to you.FrankB

Re: Problems with my Palio

Hmm... I've had my Palio for like a year now, probably even longer actually and it's 100% intact and functioning wonderfully. Sorry to hear you're having problems with yours. Try contacting them again and ask them if they'd be willing to just replace the whole thing. I *think* they'd rather have a satisfied customer than an unhappy one, but I don't know the company personally so who knows what they'll say. I do know they are a very small faction though so it's worth a shot.

Love mine. One of the emblems did fall out though. Happened the day I bought it.

Hi Frank,

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble with your Palio.

As mentioned, they have a life time warranty. You may exchange it any authorized Palio dealer.

I'm not sure if any of these are located near you but you can walk in and exchange it.

Palio Cutters - Palio cigar cutters, double blade guillotine stainless steel composite cutter

I hope this helps
