They look legit to me...

If they have a few years of age on them like you said... It may be possible that it married with some other sticks in the humidor, giving off a little different aroma. Just a thought.

I've gotten sticks from other people on here that smell different than my humidor. They just smell like their humidor.

Re: Intense Barnyard Opus aroma

What does the back of the band look like? Where it overlaps? Does it match up perfect? Is it loose? What does the foot smell like?

So today I smelled the one Opus I had without the cedar on it. It had a very slight barnyard smell, but it wasn't the main smell to it and was barley there.

I'm on my BlackBerry right now so the pics are to small to really tell.

I don't have the sticks with me so this is from memory but the band looks pretty good. Looks like it doesn't overlap very much. It's not loose but with a little force I can slide it a fraction of an inch up or down the stick. I think I was so overwhelmed with the barnyard I don't remember if I picked up anything different from the foot. I'll check it out though, Thanks. Also I'll try to get a pic of the back of the wrapper.

Re: Intense Barnyard Opus aroma

I LOVE that smell.

Probably because I've never been in an actual barnyard

Re: Intense Barnyard Opus aroma

That Robusto does look like a bad wrapper, but I really can't say for sure. In the pics the bottom of the band on the Power Ranger looks silver instead of gold? Is that just the pics?
