La Aroma, Pepin blend

Box of robustos arrived yesterday and are resting comfortably for a few days.

Very sexy smokes. Anyone tried one yet?

Thats the La Aroma De Cuba Edicion Especial, I think it is one of the best cigars that came out last year. Or are you talking about the regular line? I heard Pepin has starting making them but have not heard anything yet about them being on the market.

No doubt one of the best cigars last year. Between that and the La Gloria Miami its a close tie for the best I think.

The La Aroma by Pepin is almost perfect to me.

I am a huge fan of the La Aroma De Cuba EE. Very solid smoke. Has a good flavor and spice to it, tons and tons of smoke

I would have to agree amazing. I had a lonadale the other day and it was great. They have a special split box of the la aroma and San Cristobal lonsdales, both are pepin's blends.

Not the EE, these are an entirely new blend. Check Holts, they're flogging them heavily.

I'm trying to keep my hands off them until Sunday. I'll post my impressions.

I always liked the old blend as well, but all Nic with a CT broadleaf wrapper sounds awfully impressive.

I haven't seen the split boxes of the lonsdales but I've gone through two boxes of the lanceros. Simply amazing smokes! Especially the San Cristobal lancero. Easily one of my top 10 finds of the year.
I know the boxes are limited and go for around $80. I would highly recommend grabbing a box.

I have heard nothing but good things on the lanceros. I am trying to find some myself to try out

I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I believe it's either a 7.5 or 8 x 38. Perfect burn, too. You know how tricky some lances can be. Very easy to get one that draws like sucking on a dowel.

I've always liked the old blend, but they'll be hard to find. I just picked a 5pk.
