What's the deal with these Cohibas??
I bought a cheap humidor a couple of years ago that came with a bundle of the Cohibas. At the time the were clearly advertised as Cohibas on their website. I have about 5 left and I have to admit they weren't that bad. Not great but not bad. Anyone know the story behing these?

If I remember rightly, these were put out by General Cigar. Altadis (owner of Cohiba in Cuba) sued General for trademark infringement, and then General changed the band to the red dot Cohiba you see in the shops now.

Help, are these Cohiba's fake??? Whats the skinny on the D.R. Cohiba Yellow band Here are threads discussing it... They are not fakes just not good cigars. Shawn

I have still seen them on a cigar website billed as Cohiba Anniversario. I can't remember the name but I believe that it is part owned by Chuck Norris. I think.

If they are Dominican they are made with floor scrapings they suck. I am a big Dominican fan and love most all Cohiba Dominicans over even the Habanos.
Not fair to compare the two at all. But the yellow fake band crap is just that crap.
