5 Vegas Triple-A?

I did a search and it didn't come up with anything. But I was looking through CI and came across the 5 Vegas Specialty Blend Sampler Tin. Has anyone heard anything about these. I like a lot of the 5 Vegas stuff, especially the Series 'A'. I've been without interwebs for the last three weeks so I haven't seen these until just now.

Product Description

"The creme de la creme of 5 Vegas.

While the top-selling, everyday blends of 5 Vegas represent the brand’s bread and butter, it is the specialty blends that set the brand apart from the competition. Bold, limited production releases crafted to deliver unique flavors and aromas through the use of rare, aged tobaccos and innovative blending processes. These blends are good - damn good - and this impressive Sampler Tin is the easiest way to savor them all, including the brand new, full-bodied 5 Vegas Triple-A.

The 5 Vegas Specialty Blends Sampler Tin includes:
2 - 5 Vegas Triple-A (5" x 56)
2 - 5 Vegas Relic Perfecto (5.75" x 54)
2 - 5 Vegas Cask-Strength II Toro (6" x 52)
1 - 5 Vegas Limitada ’08 Belicoso (6.25" x 52)
1 - 5 Vegas Limitada ’09 Belicoso (6.25" x 52)
1 - 5 Vegas Miami Torpedo (6.1" x 52)"

Re: 5 Vegas Triple-A?

The only 5 Vegas cigar that I have ever had was the Cask Strength cigar. It was quite tasty, but a little mild for a cigar that emphasizes its strength. If you do go ahead an purchase the sampler, I would be happy to hear your comments on it.

Re: 5 Vegas Triple-A?

Ha-ha. That sampler is already "out of stock". I did find this discussion thread on cigar.com:

Cigar.com - 5 Vegas Triple-A ??

One person claims it was a leak of something that's not supposed to be released for another couple of months. Not much info available about what it actually is. Sounds like it might be a sort of "Super-A".

Re: 5 Vegas Triple-A?

Earlier I signed up with my email on CI to win a box of the Triple-A's. It popped up earlier like the usual ones do (and I never win but enter nonetheless)....

They are not for sale though anywhere and I haven't heard much talk about them.

I haven't heard about them. The only 5 Vegas I enjoy are the Miamis. Lots of product lines in this family but usually they come and go for a reason.

I only know of a handful which all seem to have pretty good qualities for the value. I think the Cask and series A are great, I always have a stock of them. The classic and miamis aren't too bad either.

Re: 5 Vegas Triple-A?

I've actually never had a Vegas cigar. I have a few Cask V's in the humidor though and they smell mighty fine

Cheers,
Brad
