Re: I love Kristoff maduro's

I love them too! One of my favorite sticks. I'm smoking a maduro torpedo right now. Half way through a box I got off the Monster about two months ago. They just keep getting better with age. I definately do not have the patience let them age for much longer, I like to smoke them too much! Tough to describe their unique taste to someone who hasn't tried them. They have that fermented maduro taste, yet unlike any other cigar I can compare. Almost a refined, creamy element. Really distinct and unique. Probably one of the best looking cigars around too, dark oily wraper, shaggy foot. OK I'll stop rambling now.

Re: I love Kristoff maduro's

All of them that I've smoked, I've really enjoyed.

Try the Vengance Maduro by Kristoff... You guys should like it too if you enjoy the others. I like the Kristoff's a little more, but the Vengance is not a bad smoke at all.

Re: I love Kristoff maduro's

I really like the Kristoffs as well. I have smoked the Criollos in both Kristoff and Ligero and have a Ligero Maduro that is in the humi waiting for its time. I am really anxious to try it. So far the Kristoffs may be my favorite smokes.

Re: I love Kristoff maduro's

This is by far my "go to cigar". Every one of them I have smoked has had great smoke, even burn and awsome taste. The only thing that bothers me is my local B&M sells them kind of high. Around $9 a stick. Will try the sites ca21455 put down. Thanks ca21455.

There is nothing like a Kristoff bro, nothing. My favorite stick. You usually need to find out what cigar shop carries them. I think usually 1 cigar shop per city or something.

I didn't think Kristoff made a torpedo. I have never seen one.

I've seen them on some websites but my B&M that introduced me to them only carries the other sizes. The ones with the pigtail.

Gave one to a friend the other night. He got lit it up, didn't say anything for about the first inch, then turned to me and said "I can't believe I'm smoking a cigar, it's too mellow and rich". We proceeded to try and describe the flavors and ended up laughing about our lack of "descriptors".
I've passed a few on to other friends without smoking them together. They've also always come back saying they love them and where can they get them.

I've got one of the new "red" band non-maduro ones (too lazy to run upstairs and look) that I'm anxious to try. However it's a churchill size (about) so I know I'm going to need a solid two hours for it.

Glad to know I'm not the only Kristoff fan out here!

Re: I love Kristoff maduro's

Had a maduro torpedo a couple of weeks ago, the draw was really strange. It seemed as if the head of it had holes, don't know if that's the right way to describe it. It was getting too much air on the draw, if that makes sense :ask. But from what i got, it may have been a lil too strong for my tastes. Want to try it again but @ 10.00 a pop, I'm a lil skeerd to get another....

Have a couple Kristoff Criollos and Sumatras resting in the humi - just got last night - look great, will have to restrain myself from smoking too soon - hardest thing to learn about cigar smoking.

Re: I love Kristoff maduro's

Heard so many good things about this smoke I picked one up yesterday and will try it out this weekend. I picked up the Sumatra as that was what I was told to be the best out the group--The B & M is having problems keeping them in stock!

My wife and I just got back from the Grand Opening of Old City Cigars in Knoxville...BTW, they have basically taken the place of Knox Cigars which has gone out of business. They had a rep there from Kristoff, Torano, Gurkah, and Avo. We had to try the Kristoff's. Had the Maduro Ligero and we both had the same problem. One was a very tight draw, and we both had problems keeping them lit. Flavor was good but nothing spectacular, so I've got two more that I'm going to put in the humidor and maybe it is a overhumidification issue....I hope so because I really want to like this cigar...know what I mean?
