Newbie checking in
Hey guys,
So I've placed my first order online. Here's what I got: - Digital Hygrometer - 20-Capacity Desktop Humidor (CI Mosaic) - 5 Vegas Gold Churchill (7.0"x50) - Black Pearl Rojo by La Perla Habana Robusto (4.75"x50) - CAO Black Mosaic (6.0"x42) - Fonseca Connecticut 5-50 (5.0"x50) - Gurkha Master’s Select Toro (6.0"x52) - Indian Tabac Super Fuerte Robusto (5.0"x50) - La Tradicion Perdomo Reserve Cameroon ’R’ (5.0"x54) - Reserva Maxima Media Corona by Puros Indios (5.5"x44) - Padilla Achilles - Nica Libre - Oliva Serie ’G’ - Gurkha Park Avenue - Rocky Patel Connecticut - 5 Vegas Gold Series - Indian Tabac Super Fuerte - Graycliff G2 I just wanted to double check the steps I need to take to condition the humidor and cigars. Does this sound right?
Thanks, Tyler |

Re: Newbie checking in
Welcome Tyler!
Looks like you have a handle on things. One thing I do with a new humidor, is to lightly sponge distilled water on the inside. Lightly being the key word. If you can squeeze water out of the sponge, it's too wet. I think it tends to speed the process up. You have some nice sticks there....good luck! |

Re: Newbie checking in
I hafta totally disagree with the sponging water idea... You don't want to risk warping the cedar in your Humi. You have 3 days of fridge freeze fridge before your sticks are going to be ready for the humi, that should be plenty of time for a small 20ct to season passively. Don't rush the process, you'll be glad you didn't!
