I have one silly question...When something is full bodied smoke, other then it being strong in strength in nicotine which is what i want, does it also mean you get a lot more flavor? where you taste it really good?

becuase with the LFD DL I really got a lot of flavor come out.

So like comparing the LFD DL to say a mild bodied cigar, does that mean it just will not be as complex? and it will not change? or you will not get as much distinct flavor?

i am just curious if this is true for all full bodied smokes

I second this one, its a wonderfully flavored brute.

The Mx2's are pretty bold as well and I like the Brazilia's too for a full bodied stick from CAO.

Re: What are the strongest full bodied smokes?

From all previous suggestions you already got a great selection as it is. Let me add some more: If you are going for Camacho, try the Camacho Coyolar Puro (possibly the strongest in the Camacho line). Coronado by La Flor is anothe kick a$$ smoke. And on the pricey side, Diamond Crown Maxximus. JDN Antano is a classic power house and should be a staple in anybody's humidor.

Full bodied cigars do pack more flavor. I believe they're called full bodied more for their powerful flavor rather than their nicotine content alone.

I mean, smoke a mild cigar and it, to me, is like smoking air. I only smoke medium-full as a result.

Ok i found them but they describe them as a medium smoke

Camacho Pre-Embargo is one of the most unique cigars on the market. The blend begins with a vintage ’99 Jamastran Corojo wrapper draped around a complex filler blend including a significant portion of authentic pre-embargo Cuban tobacco - the very same tobaccos used in Camacho’s beloved Liberty series. Medium in body with a rich flavor profile, Camacho’s 1962 Pre-Embargo size brings copious amounts of flavor, including wood, leather, nuts, and spices.

Re: What are the strongest full bodied smokes?

The Camacho Pre-embargo is Corojo based. Not that that is bad but I would not consider it full bodied. The Camacho Coyolar (black label) puro might be what you are looking for. The Coyolar is a true "puro" made from tobacco found in a small patch at their Jamastran farm in Honduras. Believe me, it packs a punch.

LFD DL and Oscuro Cabinet, LFD Coronado, Oliva V Dbl Toro, etc. are all great sticks to try.

Re: What are the strongest full bodied smokes?

I had a Cain straight ligero maduro last night and that was one of the strongest smokes that I have ever had in my 20 years of cigar enjoyment. My lips got that tingley feeling when I first did my pre light draw which is a sweet prelude of what is to come. I would recommend one of those as well as a Saint Luis Rey Serie G, LFD double ligero or a El Rico Habano for a full bodied smoke. Then again just my $.02

Re: What are the strongest full bodied smokes?

I feel that Camachos are the strongest cigars out there.

to expand on what Denarok indicated. There is a difference between full bodied and strength.

Body has to do with the heaviness or intensity of flavor or how rich the taste is. Stength has to do with the nicotine punch you get from the smoke.

Camachos actually give me the hiccups so do Habana Leons (or at least the couple I've smoked).

DPG makes full bodied smokes, but they are med-full in terms of strength. You can actually have a full bodied smoke that is mild-medium in strength.

A good friend of mine had the opinion that a Gurkha Triple Ligero was the strongest cigar you'd ever smoke, might want to give that a try.

That's not a BAD cigar, but it's definitely not the strongest cigar out there.

Re: What are the strongest full bodied smokes?

The Camacho Triple Maduro is a good smoke, I've heard good things about the others too.
