Ruination
I have a question that can more than likely be answered quickly, and thus have the thread close with quickness.
I ordered a couple weeks back a sampler that included 4 MoW Ruination. I placed them in the humi and went about my business upon receipt. I have been perusing the online shopping malls recently, just looking for good deals, and I've noticed Ruination cigars at each of them. Then, something hit me. The pictures I've been seeing didn't look quite like the ones I got. The photos I've seen have the label stating Ruination, and there is a color difference between it and normal MoWs. I called the customer service of the company I utilized this morning, thinking that I received normal MoW as a substitute. They told me I had in fact received a Ruination. They stated that because my cigar had a small label at the business end, I did ultimately receive what I ordered. They further informed me that MoW has created a new label for the Ruination, and that I received one of the older ones. Can anyone confirm this, or dispute it? ![]()

Re: Ruination
Yes I too recently received the ones with the small label at the foot and the main label doesn't say Ruination. I was thinking this was the new style as the pictures I saw said Ruination. At first I was bummed thinking I got the new style but now I am glad to know I got some "aged" cigars!

Good question there man! Good replies too! I had this occurrence with some DPG blues; I thought some were counterfeits or somethin cuz they changed the label!

Re: Ruination
I think I like the ruination more than the regular man o'wars...but don't let them sit too long or they lose a lot of their punch

Re: Ruination
In my case, I bought a 5-pack when I first started smoking in July of this year...I smoked the first two within 2 weeks and they had a monster "kick." I let them rest for between 2 to 3 months and have smoked the last 3 and didn't really notice anything more powerful than my other cigars. I don't know if others have experienced this or not, but I would recommend not letting them sit for more than a month...
