A certain nice thing about this forum..

Hi.
Because of my many interests, and lack of actually physically doing some of them anymore, I spend a bit of time on the computer keeping abreast of the fourms.
So I realized something today. I had planned to smoke my first truley infused cigar today"a tabac especial, negra", but sometime last night I started feeling poorly and went to bed right after yankee game. (about 2300)
I woke up feeling poorly, (Those things start to happen when you pass 60), and decided to stay in my bathrobe and slippers the whole day. No cigars for me when I feel this way.
So to get back to topic and not be accused by the paragraph police here, I just wanted to say, this is a truley amazing forum, that there is almost no back biteing, bitterness, I told you so, I know more then you, your a stupid newbie, I hate this, I hate that, I hate you and your and you.
This forum has been and continues to be a very welcoming board for newcomers, and oldcomers alike.
Basic information has been handed down to newbies, ad nasuem without malice or any badwill.
It is almost a promotion for the cigar consumer and industry as a whole.
Because of this, even feeling poorly, I have spent about two hours here today, just perusing around the various forums, reading the cigar reviews, taking notes, besides playing some online competive hearts.
So everyone pat yourself on your backs for making puff.com a great place to be and sort of socialize and communicate in the cyber space world.
Thanks to Jon and the rest of the moderators for handling the forum gently and with respect to all.
Thats all I have to say on this matter.

Smoking a cigar is a gentleman's activity, so I am not surprised. The only thing that surprises me about this board is the number of younger visitors like myself. I figured the majority of y'all would be baby boomers.

I am new here and also find that this board was very welcoming.

Thanks for putting together this great site. I started off on this site looking at the reviews only, then I started to get bored and would come on here and just browse. Finally I found the forum and I'm glad I did! The site is very well organized.

My favorite part about finding this website was learning where to get good deals on cigars. My local B&M (don't really know what it means; I picked that term up here) charges much, much higher prices than I can get online. The guy who owns the place is nice, but I don't think I'll be going back unless for something immediate.

As a noob I agree completely.

As a rather 'blokey' forum I would have thought that some 'alpha male' would have risen up to spoil things but no... if it's possible for a forum to have a vibe then this one would have a relaxed, laidback but informative one about it. I like it a lot!

It's people like you Jerry that make me come here and take part of this forum. There are a lot of good cigar people who just want to come here and share information and feel like they are part of a community that keeps giving back to them. I agree with you in that this is one forum that doesn't deal with the nonsense of some who would rather come here and troll or start bad blood and arguments. They could almost have called this place "Cheers" if not for the trademark infringement. It's a place where everybody knows your name when you come here.

I totally agree. I think this place becoming Puff.com has been a wonderful advancement. I was a member when it was ClubStogie and that was great too, but there was definitely a degree of "high sensitivity" and such from some members. I now see less of that here and it's quite refreshing
