C-Bid ?

Is there a free shipping link for c-bid? If not if I were to do a quick buy on multiple items will it all ship at one flat rate cost? And what is there cheapest shipping?

Thanks

Re: C-Bid ?

Howdy,
There isn't a link for free shipping but you can set up your account preferences to ship once a week

Re: C-Bid ?

I learned this lesson the hard way. It depends on how your shipping is set up. If you have daily and you buy them with two different end dates you will have to pay the full shipping on both. If you have it weekly then you will pay the reduced shipping for all that end that week

Re: C-Bid ?

I don't believe there is a free shipping link. There is no flat fee, they charge the listed amount for shipping for which ever item costs the most to ship, then they charge extra for each additional item at a discounted rate. The discounted rates are some where on the site.

Re: C-Bid ?

No free shipping. If you have your account set up to ship once a week all your purchases for that week ship on the same day so only one shipping charge. Not sure on their minimum charge. Maybe like $6 or so.

Re: C-Bid ?

Just a tip for this and any other auction site ... know your prices.

I still see folks on C-bid occasionally getting caught up in the moment and buying at prices higher than what is normally found on CI.

Re: C-Bid ?

As kind of an FYI...a while back I won a couple of single Barrel Aged La Aurora belicosos on c-bid. I never thought to read the fine print, although to their credit they had flagged it in red, & that particular cigar didn't qualify for the usual discounted shipping. To make a long story short, I paid an extra $3.95 each for those two cigars to be shipped with my wins. I think it's rare, but keep an eye out for any red flagged print on auctions.

That was the 1st time I'd ever seen it on an auction. It was at the bottom. When I called customer service, they pointed it out to me. They were sympathetic, but could not offer an explanation for it.

To venture a guess....that particular cigar was probably not staged for c-bid shipping & required extra handling. Of course, that is just a guess.

I was told from a respectable BOTL that Cigarbid, Cigar.com, and Cigarsinternational are all owned by the same corporation.

Have you ever bought any 5ers or singles from cbid? They come in Cigar International bags is what made me realize firom day one.

Kinda like I won a 5er on cbid along with a few others. Got my package and realized one 5er was on backorder........... I don't understand how u can "auction" off anything you don't physically have. Thats exactly what I asked thier CS and she offered my money back or they would ship as soon as it came in for no extra cost........ needless to say, I got a refund, and have yet to see them relisted in over 4 months....
