Re: Rocky Patel Edge Question

The Edge is a good smoke, haven't had one in quite a while though. Corojo or maduro, they haven't made a difference to me and they're both great.

LFD.. I did not like it at all.

The HDN was the only cigar to ever make my head spin. Granted I was indoors and there was poor circulation. Not the greatest cigar but it's ok.

If you want another big hitter, try the CAO Brazilia Gol. They're medium-full in body but full of flavor. I have a few sticks about 9 months old and they are a fantastic smoke.

UNBANDED! And if possible ask to see a box-date. Anything newer than 2004/01/01 is going to be the "redesigned" cigars most likely, and not of the same quality as the originals.

I hope he wasn't planning to inhale them like cigarettes.

Re: Rocky Patel Edge Question

I have noticed some slippage in the newer Edge smokes, but not the the extent as some here have seen. They for me were great smokes when they first came out. Let hope they get back on track with this line.

I have also seen where they have released the Edge Lite. Which is said to be much milder and wonder if they were placed on the shelf with or near the regular edge and someone have grabed the worng one??
