question on cigar.com

I never really have taken notice of them, but in todays mail I received a cigar.com october catalogue.
Someone must be selling their customer lists. LOL
Its a pretty catalog, very limited, but nicely done.

Question:
Not considering price, anyone buy from cigar.com and how are they for shipping and customer service. I am looking for a new vendor, as I do not use jr cigar, cbid or c.i. I basically am buying home mades, and everything else from famous smoke shop for my standards.
Any input appreciated.

Much regards Jerry

I've ordered from them maybe 5 times and never had a problem. Customer service is great.

I second that. Cigar.com has never given me a problem, and the shipping was quick.

Re: question on cigar.com

Me too Jerry. I have ordered from them in the past and received good service. I just don't use them as a "go to" source anymore as I order my sticks from well established sources that I have used before. I use Tampa Humidor because of their free shipping on singles, I use JR's as well and also New Havana. I probably use the auction sites more than anything.

I've always had good service from them. They are owned by C.I.

I thought parts of the web site looked vaguely similar.
Well unfortunatley if this is true, not a site I will order from.
Why two different online sites, for the same company?
Much regards Jerry

Same here!!
I just got a 3pc Gurhka set for $13 on a daily deal that was worth $70 if bought seperately. Shipping is great and fast (usually through the post office) and the water and air pillows are a deffinate plus! They have nice daily deals usually 5ers of decent sticks at nice prices. If you buy 2 or more free shipping (like I got).

They are owned by the same people who own CI (who operates Cigarbid).

Re: question on cigar.com

Only reason I order from them is for the daily deals, and they have wider variety of singles than CI regardless if there owned by the same corporation there are differences.

Re: question on cigar.com

Well now that I am on here and trying to broaden my horizons I started buying again from them, they are about the same as CI to me same speed in shipping and some decent deals.

I did get pissed at JR today the suspended my auction rights for some reason. may let them alone for awhile and deal with the others ci and c.com

Re: question on cigar.com

I ordered from them for awhile last year. Great customer service, however they are very good at upselling (that or I'm just a sucker for good cigars). My only complaints are that they push their House Blends way too much, and their prices make you cringe when you realize you could have saved a lot of money from other sites. Their Daily Deal can have some nice buys in it though. Give them a call sometime. They really have knowledgeable staff and they have no problem throwing together a small sampler of cigars you want to try.

Def had very good experiences when ordering from them. I find calling in your order works better. The customer service is fantastic and they really work with you. If you place your order before 3 PM it ships that day and I get it the next day.

I haven't bought from them yet but I am an active member on the small forums there. From what all the guys on the forums there say they go above and beyond with customer service. Daily deals seem to be the thing to watch.

Re: question on cigar.com

Gotten a couple of orders from them and had no problems.
I'll be damned; never would have guessed that they were actually CI. I regularly check on cigar.com before ordering from CI just to compare (except for a Joe's deal; why bother? ) and have never noticed any indication. But sure enough, comparing the contact addresses they are indeed one and the same.

Re: question on cigar.com

Being from Canada, I can't order from Cbid, but can from Cigar.com. Go figure? So price becomes somewhat less of an issue. They have great customer service and ship with humi packs. Which I really like.
They have some good deals. A1 company IMHO.
