Re: New cigars from: Rocky Patel, Padilla, Oliva, etc.
Nub Maduro is good, first time I tried it wasn't crazy about it but got mch better with just a little rest.
Cain Habano is good. My wife like the Oliva Conn but likes the 601 Blacks better. Never heard of the RP 1961? Any info on those other then a pic would be nice. But to be honest not that crazy about his cigars. The Padilla Dominus is 100% Corojo tobacco, sonds damn tasty and I just ordered 20 Robustos for $110. Retail is $9 a stick so I couldn't past that price up even though I haven't smoked one yet.

Re: New cigars from: Rocky Patel, Padilla, Oliva, etc.
Did a search on the RP and this is what I found.
"Rocky Patel 1961 Filler: Nicaraguan Binder: Honduran Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano Country of Origin: Nicaragua Famous moments in 1961: US breaks diplomatic relations with Cuba, President Kennedy establishes the Peace Corps, over a thousand Cuban exiles land in Bay of Pigs in an attempt to overthrow Castro, & the birth of Rocky Patel! To commemorate his birth, Rocky has release his 1961 cigar. The latest creation from Rocky is also an inaugural release from his newest factory: Tabacalera Villa Cuba in Nicaragua. Using only select leaf in its construction, the 1091 is a medium to full bodied smoke. While many may be familiar with the Ecuadorian grown Sumatra leaf that is used in several of Rocky's blends, the Habano-seed wrapper gives a noticeable spice finish to the cigar. The 1961 cigar will be limited in production and distribution" Sounds like it's worth a try. I was scared he bought a old abandoned factory and found tobacco that had been aging since 1961 LOL
