Cigar lounges Key West?

I'm going to be in Key West FL next week. Any cigar stores/lounges to check out?
Also, how about Miami? I'll also be there for a couple of days down around the cruise port. Any shops I should visit?

As far as Miami goes, take a stroll down Calle Ocho (eighth street)
just hop in a cab and tell them to take you to Calle Ocho, they will know lol.
there are a ton of places on Calle Ocho, Padilla has a factory/store, El Rey de los Habanos which is DPG's factory, Felipe Gregorio and a ton more.

Idk about Key West but if your in Miami and you are a cigar smoker, Calle Ocho is like the Mecca LOL

Hey Eric, what are the chances as I will be in Key West next week on the 15th ( thursday ) I will be on a short cruise on Majesty of the Seas and will hit Nassau on Tuesday and CoCo Cay on Wed.
Check out this link as I am going to try and hit as many as I can that day. They have scooters to rent for $25 all day so that way I don't have to walk all over Key West. http://www.cigargroup.com/regional/fl/keywest/

It's been a couple of years but out the back door(the gift shop) of Hog's Breath, I remember there being a couple of small cigar shops. One was this older gent who rolled them for you if you wanted. He had a decent selection of stuff he rolled on site. May or may not still be there.

There's another shop a couple of blocks away that had a small selection and if I remember not great prices.
Good luck, it's a fun town to be in.

Hey Randy,,,good to hear that about this cruise. The wife and I cruise at least 2 times a year but I will be doing this solo as she is having friends in next week and I don't deal well with all of the estrogen so she sent me off on this cruise,,,whatever will I do with 4 nights and 5 days away? Cigars,,,more cigars,,,food,,,cigars,,,more food. It's going to be Caligula for the next week. I have been to Key West a few times but not in the last 4 years. I use to ride my motocycle down there when I lived in Palm Beach Gardens and then of course cruised down thru there. It's a great place and I know I will enjoy the time off.

If I remember my Perelman's correctly, there are a few Key West brands that are either based there or rolled there.

There are a number of small open air shops right on the main street..the one with all the restaurants and such. I was there last year and just walked up and down the street, buying one here, smoking one there. Key West is a great place to just walk around and see the sights and being able to smoke a good cigar while doing it was the best part!

There are at least 2 hand rollers down there on the main drag. I have not been there since I was around 17, but I remember my father and I picking up a few singles from them and enjoying them on the porch of our townhouse.
It may have been two weeks ago that I was thinking of that trip, and I did a web search for "key west cigars" and in the top 8 results were the same hand rollers we visited. I admire the fact that you both will be down there as I was hoping to have driven down there myself this winter, but alas, funds were required elsewhere. enjoy yourself! Although you won;t need my blessing. Key west is nothing if it isn't a fun place to be.

I'm not going to get in until late Friday (16th) afternoon and then will be traveling to Miami on Sunday. I'll be staying in Miami until Thursday morning. It's too bad we'll miss each other.
Guess me and some other conference attenders (who are also cigar fans) are going to hit Calle Ocho (8th Street) that another BOTL told me about. I knew there were major cigar factories in Miami but NOT that many.

I predict I'll be sneaking out of the conference a little early each day!

Cool,,,,Miami is a great cigar town and you will feel like you are a kid in Disneyland there. Have a great time and I will try to leave Key West with a few cigars for you when you get in there .

Lol,,,I will leave Cremosas and Gurkhas and maybe even some Erin Go Braghs only cuz I'm a nice guy. You will be in S. Beach for crying out loud and Key West is like a pimple on Miamis ass when it comes to cigars. Please be careful in that part of town at night,,,I wouldn't go there at night no matter what.
