Great post...doesn't matter where I've stopped by for a smoke, after a few minutes, it's just like I've always been stopping there. Never had a bad experience at any of the B&M's or lounges.

I agree, I have only been to one B&M and had a bad experience.

I love cigars, and everything about them. But I enjoy it much more when I have a friend over, or at the b&m. I'm a very quiet person, it takes me awhile to warm up to people. But I thoroughly enjoyed sitting down at my b&m and making some new friends. Such a sense of brother hood, therapy at times, just so relaxing.

Right on, you said my thoughts! The only thing I might add is that the whole experience to me can feel like a mini-vacation. That is, time to sit down, relax, reflect, and at times talk to people I would never have the opportunity to talk with it were for that common interest, the cigar.

Enjoy your mini-vacations, camaraderie, and fellowship bothers/sisters; here's to many more to come!

Here here! I only wish that the anti-smoking Nazis' in Canada hadn't screwed us out of cigar lounges. I imagine it would be awesome to meet up with a bunch of folks for a good gar. The closest I get is when a few of my friends come by my basement lounge and herf. I treasure those moments!

Great sentiment. I have few friends that smoke and I live so far out in the sticks that I don't have the opportunity to smoke with the few, but I love going outside and sitting in my back yard, chatting with the wife (listening more than talking most times) and smoking a stick. Its so relaxing and does really take me away.

Same here also (the 2 or 4 days per month Im at home) I always talk my wife into sitting on the porch with me while Im smoking a nice stick. Its really nice & no distractions.

Also, gave my BIL a few couple months back...he is hooked on them now too.
