Lightbulb Cigar "Band" Aid

I was headed out to smoke on the deck this evening and in my rush I made a lopsided cut. The cap on my smoke all but popped off. I tried to fix it with a little saliva, but no good and when I tried to just remove it the wrapper started to come with it.

Then the little light went off in my head. I slide the band up towards the cap and used that to keep the cigar from unraveling. Worked pretty well. It didn't seem like it was going to fly apart, but it was a little insurance. Seems like it would work if you did get a cigar that wanted to unravel.

I'm sure many of the veterans on here have already figured this out, but for the noobs it may just save a fine cigar from the trash.

That's very McGuyver of you Dan. I'll file that one away for when it happens again.

Nice! I've tried this a few times, most recently on a CAO Brazila. Works pretty well!
