Enjoying minis more

I'm finding lately, at least on most days, I have just enough time on my lunch hour to eat and then still smoke a mini before I have to go back to work. It usually works out to just about 30 minutes for each. I've been rotating four cigars, LGC petites maduro, AF Cubanitos, Part Black Prontos, and 5 Vegas Shorties. I've always been a slow smoker, and the 5 Vegas are just a little too big. I wind up tossing them with plenty of good smoke left in them, but the real minis seem to be just perfect.

No one has said anything yet, but I'm guessing my cow-orkers are probably not enjoying them as much as I am. I'm thinking of keeping a bottle of FeBreeze around to help keep the odor off my clothes. I've never used it before, so I was wondering if anyone else had any good luck with it for cigar odors? Is there something better? My smeller's broken anyway, so it doesn't bother me at all, but I actually like the people I work with, and I'm trying to at least make the effort to be a Good Citizen. Out of 13 of us, there's only one other person who even smokes at all, much less cigars.

They keep FeBreeze and Listerine Mint at the B&M where I smoke a lot, for just this reason. It works very well. Just keep some at your desk or car and your co-workers will appreciate it.

I agree, most of the cigars I buy these fays are smaller size. Often I want to have a smoke but simply don't have 1-1.5 hour to burn. Plus, winter is coming...

I enjoy them too when I am pressed for time or taking a quick run somewhere..
Try
Carlos Torano Exodus 1959's..
a tin of 10 will run you about $15-17

You can get them at Famous ( thats where I got mine )

I think they are excellent little smokes.
Perfect draw.. Just dont let them get to wet.

The description on the site is pretty accurate.

"Creamy, rich flavor, long finish and captivating, roasted coffee and cocoa aroma "

I have been using Cohiba minis as my "social smoke" at work. Just ordered some Erin Go Bragh minis and Hoya de Monterey petits to rotate in. As for odor, I keep a scented candle in my office and some Ozium sanitizer spray. I like it better than Febreeze. Also got a bottle of Axe body spray the girls there seem to like.

My wife likes those erin go bragh cigarillos. Sometimes I'll have one with her, they're very smooth, unsweetened, tons of light smoke with a hint of whisky flavor. I'm pretty sure they're machine made though, sometimes you'll get little bits of tobacco in your mouth when you light them up.

I like 'em better than the Camels she likes to smoke, that's for sure.

Re: Enjoying minis more

Rockey Patel petite coronas work nicely too.

Though I find that I prefer smoking a robusto.

This is probably tacky as hell - but it's been working for me on my lunch break. I smoke about half a robusto then I use my cutter to cut off the burning bit so I have clean tobacco foot again with no ash. Then I blow through the cigar to clear all the smoke out and then put it back in a cello sleeve or a ziplock bag. And it still tastes good later. There is a bit of ashtray smell to it until you light it - but as soon as it's lit it really does taste like a fresh cigar again (almost).

Minis go so fast though.....I love the 60 min plus smoke but that always isn't practical.
