Victor Sinclair is a good budget smoke. Check the auction sites, the samplers are good ways to pick up new sticks at fair price also.

Oliva Serie G - Can be had on the devil's site for around 13-15 for a five pack so it comes out to around 3 dollars a stick.
Flor De Oliva 5 Vegas A 5 Vegas Miami Padron 2000 Also don't forget to check out the reviews section, it has a budget section. Just in case you haven't seen it yet.

Re: Beginner Suggestions?
Now, when you go to get that bigger humidor look at the imperfects. They can save you a lot of money and usually the imperfection is so insignificant they are hard to find. I got my 125 count at Cheap Humidors for about 60 bucks. Even that isn't big enough, though. I am going to put together a coolidor so I can start buying boxes. The 125 count is great for sitting out and storing the smokes you want to access regularly, but a few boxes woud fill it right up.
I've only been at this since the end of August!! The slope is definatley slippery!

For darker, cheaper stuff (and apparently if you like the 5 Vegas A series), you cannot beat a Sancho Panza Double Maduro. My favorite size is the Quixote, which is a super-concentrated in both flavor and size box-pressed robusto. |

Check out this post:
Big List of Cigars - Good Newb Starter And this one: Cigar Vendors and More A good resource is the Famous catalog. It gives the strength of each cigar. Stay with something mild to medium until you get your sea legs! Another good resource is Perelman's Pocket Cyclopedia of Cigars. Re: Beginner Suggestions?
Flor de Olivas are a must.
I like the robusto deluxes too bad they only go in bundles of 50 on CI... not 25. I like Brocatus cigars they are a good cheap cigar I think. Also I have CI's Mistakes which I think are very good. |

Re: Beginner Suggestions?
My #1 Go-to smoke in the mild/medium range: Arturo Fuente 8-5-8. The first cigar I ever had and continue to love it.
Mild smokes that I've been turned on to from guys on here: Puros Indios Viejo (apparently they're best with a few months+ of age on em) Flor de Oliva Montecristo anything (my favorites are the Media Noche and the Afrique, although from what I've read they fall more into the fuller-bodied area. They don't bite hard at all though.) Quintero |
