IMHO, the best part of the end of the embargo (when/if it happens) won't be the availability of CCs. It will be the blending of that country's tobacco with others. Can you imagine a little Havana-grown leaf in a Pepin or a Padron?
The only thing im worried about when/if the embargo ends is even MORE overproduction, therefore creating less quality cigars. I could be wrong, but thats what makes me think i dont want the embargo to end! (but i do)

This is my opinion.

If you purchase 10 randon cc's and 10 random nc's maybe 1 of 10 nc's will be great and 7 of 10 cc's will be great. There are several nc's that i have smoked that match up to a great cc. There is so much crap in the nc market, I can't say the same about the cc market.

To be totally honest I've never had a CC that had that WOW factor. Every one I've had has been a good cigar & I can see why people like them so much, they're just different from everything else. I've had a few NC's that have had that WOW factor, Padron 64, Tatuaje Havana, Opus X, etc.

Still waiting on a CC to really surprise me.

I am a...well never mind.

There are CC's and NC's at the top of my list. Not going to say which is better but they are different. There is a flavor to the CC's that has never been reproduced in a NC, but you can say the same the other way around.

So, smoke what you enjoy.

I don't think it's the conditions. I think it's because they pee on the plants!

Re: Are you a VIRGIN too? Read and Post here :)

Are Cuban cigars better? - To me they are. To someone else they may not be.
Is it the forbidden fruit factor? - To me it is not. Cuban cigars are readily available.
Are they more expensive? - Actually I can smoke a variety of quality Cubans cheaper than I can non-Cubans.

Just my

Re: Are you a VIRGIN too? Read and Post here :)

A friend and I smoked two of his dad's Cuban Montecristos when were 16 or 17. All I remember is my friend describing how pissed his dad was when he found out. That was the only one I've had and I certainly enjoyed it at the time.
