What about the Oliva V Maduro torpedo 2008? I like it. Regards, Butch.

Those are my favorites.

A few others might include the Rocky Vintage and the Punch Maduros are pretty good as well.

The Indian Tabac Super Fuerte Maduro is my go to cigar.

How is it that nobody mentioned the Carlos Torano Signature maddies? I have a box resting now... great smoke at a great price!

Re: Maduros

I prefer the maduro version of almost any cigar that offers that option, however the only exception I have found so far was the A.F. Work of Art. In my opinion the maduro version just isn't as tasty.

Re: Maduros

I'm VERY new to cigars and tried my first maduro the other day... It was a RP The Edge missile. It had great smoke but I didn't enjoy it. The first few puffs were very strong and bitter. The next 10 or so started getting better but not by much. I guess for now, either the Edge or maduros aren't for me... I have a regular Edge to try out as well so that I can compare the two.

I also tried a natural Olivia Serie G and it was great. I have a maduro as well that I would like to try soon so that I can see if maduros aren't my thing or if it was just a bad "batch" of the Edge that wasn't good.

Re: Maduros

The Maduro that will come thorugh time after time:
-Ashton Aged Maduro (best maduro EVER!)
-Padron Londres and 2000 Maduro (best maduro bang for the buck)

The occasional Maduro:
-LGC Series R Maduro is good too (gotta play around and find the size for you though...) imo
-RP Edge Maduro
-Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro (torpedo)

Re: Maduros

Well I had an Olivia G Maduro Robusto tonight, my 5 pack came from cigarbid, and I know i should have waited a bit but could not wait, and I have to say I liked this better then the Olivia O maduro, even though it was not as strong, it had a lot more flavor IMO. In fact so far one of my favorite and for $3 a cigar this will be one my go to that is for sure.

Re: Maduros

I hear the ML3 can knock you on your bottom... I have 4 sitting pretty right now, kind of afraid to try them...

My recommendation as someone who is NOT usually a maduro fan (these ones I LOVED however) (in order):
1. Montecristo Media Noche
2. Rocky Patel Winter Collection 2009
3. Perdomo Lot 23

I've got a few more maddies waiting for me so I'll have to get back at ya later with an update...

keep in mind that with the edge it may require some aging before you smoke it this cigar should be very enjoyable but*** it is a very full bodied cigar it can put you down if you dont eat before smoking it so if i were you i would let it sit in the humidor for as long as possible before smoking and eat before attempting again

For sure on those Isaac,,,,I heard a rumor where a man was smoking one of these and he had his dog beside him and after about an hour the pooch went into cardiac arrest while the old timer himself passed out. Be afraid, be very afraid and if need be PM me and I will give you an address as to where the remaining cigars should be sent to so that they can be properly disposed of.
