My review of R.P. American Market Selection
I purchased a five pack, about 3 months ago, and have been resting at 67 rh for the same amount of time.
This is a toro sized, natural wrapper. Not much to say about this cigar. Felt light for its size. Wrapper was smooth, and felt nice. Sort of like a classic machine rolled cigar. Now I do like R.P. products, and this was another finely constructed cigar. Easy light, good draw, no touch ups needed, lots of smoke, nothing to dislike about this fine crafted cigar, except one thing. It has no flavor. Oh yes, a little cedar, that picked up as the cigar burned, but nothing special. It was a quick burner for me. I only got about 35 minutes on it before putting out to disect. If it only had some more flavor, or a little complexity of some sort. I could do better on some dollar cigars with flavor and aroma. So mild, no nicotene kick at all(I like that) because I am a bit sensitive to nicotene, but this had zero. My first cigar in a very, very, long time with no kick. Great cigar, needs a better blend of tobacco. Its why to even bother to smoke it, unless you just want something and nothing else is available. First R. P. that really disappointed. I give it a 6 out of 10. Maybee a great beginneers smoke. A real new beiginner. Much regards Jerry |
