I'm too new to have a definitive one yet, but I really like the RP Decade lancero, Camacho Corojo, and 5 Vegas 'A'. I think half the fun right now is trying new stuff.

Kristoff or CAO Italia are probably my two favorite cigars.

I teeter often when it comes to my favorite but a staple in the economical range would be an Oliva V or Arturo Fuente's Don Carlos and lately Alec Bradley's Tempus on the other side of the spectrum I would have to say VSG's, Padron's Anniversary Series and Opus X are my fave's.

Re: reply to this thread

well...the best I ever had was a Monte#2...It was smoked with a couple of friends and for some reason all the right things converged to make one hell of a great smoke and evening...

Re: reply to this thread

I'm also fairly new to cigar smoking, My best would be a Cohiba Siglo, I'm deployed to Japan so getting them is easy right now. For a more resonable choice I would have to say Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro or a Gurkha 101 Maduro are my favorites, for a lighter smoke a Graycliff G2. I have a long list to try once I return to Jacksonville so this is subject to change.

Re: reply to this thread

This is impossible to answer. Too many variables, so I guess a disclaimer's in order. Memory is subjective. That said, mine was an original release Opus X robusto I smoked back in '99. Another was a God of Fire tubo gifted by and smoked with Cigar Man Andy. That's the closest I've tasted to that OR Opus.

Additionally, I'd walk a mile for an Anejo Shark. Lot's of other things I can't mention too.

Re: reply to this thread

The best smoke i've had today was the AB Select Cabinet Reserve Robusto that I just nubbed! It's packed with some incredible flavors - prior to that my best was probably a Cuban Cohiba or maybe an Opus X.
