Re: Pardon Anni's on CI

You guys who are harping on cigars being sold at B&Ms for well-above internet/MSRP need to remember that some of us live in states/municipalities with ridiculously high taxes! Not everyone can get cigars for a reasonable price at their B&M!

For example, it's hard to find a decent cigar that doesn't come to $10 after-taxes from a B&M where I am.

Wow that's a really intelligent comment. Why so defensive over people shopping for cigars online? If the guy wants to buy online let him. I prefer to buy online too. You a B&M owner or something?

Did you happen to see where I live? In Minnesota...Einstein! We pay the highest tobacco tax in the nation when we shop at B&M's...and I'm paying LESS than the online Padron prices we have been discussing. As far as my "comment" goes...it had to do with the retailer avoiding taxes...not the consumer. Yeah...I'm an owner. Pay attention.

I don't see anywhere in your post's where you say your a owner.

Why you would exspect anyone outside your state to know your tobacco tax "Einstien".

You need to take some exlax and have a good dump, you sound a bit bound up.

I'm NOT an owner. It's called sarcasm...which makes your response look even more foolish. Why would I shop at a B&M if I was an owner? Again...pay attention. You are way out of your league is you wish to exchange insults. I suggest you quit while you THINK you are ahead...lest you embarrass yourself even further.

Re: Pardon Anni's on CI

I think everyone needs to calm down and get back on topic. There is no need for anyone to get worked up about paying attention about who said what. The only thing people need to pay attention to is the rules. Thanks.

Some of us don't have local B&Ms to go to, so online is the only source we have. You may NEVER buy a 64 or 26 online, but many of us do and have NO problem with it.

Nice try "Einstein", why would you expect me to know the taxes of all 50 states?? You are way too confrontational for this place, and yeah, you HAVE been confrontational since your first post in this thread. Go smoke a good cigar and chill the heck out.

Never heard of Serious Cigars before. It seems to members here think they seem reputable. Anyone else that can vouch for them?

Download the comparison shopper from cigarcyclopedia.com. It is among the top ten mail order/online cigar store.

Re: Pardon Anni's on CI

My last comment on this subject...since I've been accused of owning a B&M and being a "flamer". Anyway, neither is true. Although I am passionate about B&M's...and the taxes we have to pay to shop there...and I am a bit sarcastic...which does not translate well when written (my bad)...the fact that we pay nearly the same price online for Padron Anniversarys is a joke. The online retailer is pocketing the "tax" they don't have to pay. I recommend calling a Padron retailer in another state (if they don't have a website...even better). Request the "non tax" rate on Padrons...and pay the shipping. You will be surprised at the savings. Peace, out.
