CAO Italia Robusto
I smoked one of these a few days ago, I've been really sick so I haven't gotten around to posting lately. I have a CAO Brazilia robusto as well that I am going to go herf on right now.
Brand:CAO Line: Italia Size: Ciao, 5X50 robusto Filler: Filler tobacco from Italy,Peru, and Nicaragua Binder: Nicaragua Wrapper: Nicaragua Drink: A Longneck of Becks Beer Location: My Room My Take on this cigar: I know, I know, it's not my usual cigar reviewing style(Which I prefer, so everything is orgranized. DAMN OCD!) but that's because I don't think I could review this cigar in my traditional review style. The thing is, I could taste all kinds of flavors I couldn't really place, in fact I loved this cigar just because of it's uniqueness. I have not tasted a cigar like the CAO Italia in my 3.5 years of cigar smoking, this cigar and its tobacco give it an extremely unique bouquet of flavors that I feel are almost impossible(at least for me) to describe and experience anywhere else. I LOVED THIS THING. I actually got kicked out to the cold wintery porch because I got a little to much smoke in the house, so I gladley moved outwards so that I could prolong my smoke time. I ended up nubbing the cigar, which at the last inch had gotten a lot of pepper. All I gotta say is that this cigar is extremely unique, and is possibly one of my favorite CAO's that I've had, especially now that I am revisiting the brand because this is actually the first CAO I've smoked in almost 2 years. I smoked a ton of CAO's when I first started out back in 2007, it is nice to be revisiting an old brand. I give the CAO Italia a 90/100, for excellent taste, good construction, but some unfortunate burn issues that did even themselves up.

Re: CAO Italia Robusto
Nice review. However, I didn't like it so much. I smoke a CAO Brasilia Gol! last night however, and it was very good.......much better than the Italia imho. I'm anxious to see how you like the Brasilia compared to the Italia. Let me know.

Re: CAO Italia Robusto
Nice review; I totally agree. I grabbed an Italia Gondala at the local B&M and smoked it there during the Vikings game last Sunday and was really pleased with it. I'm one of the few out there that liked it more than the Brazilia (but not by much
). It is the unique flavors that made it stand out in my mind. |

Re: CAO Italia Robusto
I guess I am not the only one that picked out the unique flavors of the Italia, I forgot to add that I also drank a cup of starbucks Italian Roast coffee with the Italia alongside the Becks. The Italian coffee really complimented that cigar well! I loved it, I also just got done smoking the CAO Brazilia out on the porch, I loved the Brazilia even more.
I am posting the Brazilia review soon.
