Well, I definitely tried to nub it but the wrapper cracked a little when I took the band off, and it got worse as I smoked closer and closer to the nub. So eventually I had to put her down at a little under half an inch. But even then, it was still a tastey full bodied maduro smoke. ]

Um ok, dude, "under .5" left on it" is nubbed!

Good review! I have a Gol in my humi that I think I will fire up this wknd.

Doh! I meant to say an inch, not half an inch.

Re: CAO Brazilia Robusto

This was in one of my initial sampler pack purchases. As my tastes are still being influenced by everything I tried, I selected one of these last night, and other than the tight draw on my particular version, it was a great stick, with great aroma, nice flavor, and burned rather nicely. I took my time and enjoyed this one, and I have another Brazilia and two CAO Italia's also aging in my humi!

Re: CAO Brazilia Robusto

I like several of the CAO's; Soprano, Brazilia, Americas top the list.

The Sorprano is my favorite but it's too expensive. I swap back and forth between the Brazilia and the America. The Brazilia is definitely one of my go to smokes, good price and I really like the flavor. I've smoked all the sizes and for some reason have always enjoyed the Gol!! the most.

Great review!

Haven't had the chance to try a "Soprano" as yet. Might bite the bullet and pick a a couple. A bit to pricey to buy a box of them.

Really love the Soprano with it's Brazilian wrapper too. Have always wanted to buy box and keep thinking the price will come down since the show is long over....they haven't. Check all the websites and my local B&M (who's prices are always lower) and the price just haven't dropped.

Don't know why but have always like the smaller associate's taste better the larger ones. Like them all but, the Associate just seems to have more flavor. Anybody else compared the Soprano sizes?
