Ya, I had been holding on to this gar for a while cause of that nasty rip in the cap, did`nt know what to do with it or how to fix that big a rip.
But then I landed on this idea after having to move a band around once or twice to cover a small tear. This worked great, and the draw was good, I could not detect any leakage. The flavor was predominantly butter covered nuts, with just a little "tang" to it.

Save those bands, They make perfect band aids, LOL.

Funny,,,I do this with my bands when there is a rough spot and found it to be a really good way to save the cigar esp. when the head is thrashed.
