Looks like you're right...I forgot to cross reference the filler and binder. Oh well...

Re: Rocky Patel Maduro of Costa Rica???

Lit one up tonight. My quick review is below.

Construction: A very tightly rolled stick. Cut the cap and the draw was remarkably easy for how tightly this bad boy was packed. Toasted the end and away I went.

First 1/3: Spice. Full blown spice and nothing else. I was pretty sure Kellzey had no idea what he was talking about calling this an amazing stick. I pressed on.

Second 1/3: The spice settled into a VERY nice stick. Cocoa, earthy, tasty. A great maduro.

Final 1/3: Some spice came back, but just enough to add a nice complexity to the stick. I nubbed this one and then some. Pretty sure I had about 1/4" left and didn't want it to end. I retract my statement about Kellzey.

Excellent recommendation sir! My hats off to you. Glad I have two more sitting. Really curious where they'll get with some age on them... if I can hold out.

I was at a B&M a few days ago and remembered this thread. Tobacco Republic in Loomis, CA has TONS of these in all different sizes. I'll try to make it back over the next couple days and ask him what the deal is with them.

I'll be in San Jose, CR in next Monday; I'll have to see if any of the reputable dealers have anything similar...

Please let me know what they have and a rough idea on prices. I enjoyed it, but my source was a bit pricey for my tastes. Thanks!
