Oliva serie v toro CRACKED & CRUMBLED

i am fairly new to the cigar world. about a week ago joeybear sent me a message stating that to welcome me to the cigar world he would put together a sampler for me for a decent price. it was supposed to be a 20ish sampler for 70 shipped which i felt very reasonable cause i knew i was gonna be getting a lot of quality sticks. To my surprise my 20ish sampler turned out to be a 30 ish sampler (cant thank you enough joeybear your a great guy) upon recieving my box walking up to my mail box i noticed that it looked like my mail box was batting practice for someone the night before and being out of shape the mail man had a hard time making the box fit. Once i finally managed to get my box out of the mail box as carefully as possible my package looked like it went through five rounds with chuck liddel. i was so worried that my cigars were injured i rushed to open my box and to my suprise there was no damage done...but closer inspection revealed that my olivia serie v with two years of age on it was cracked all the way down to my band and my edge by rocky patel was cracking at the cap. I tried smoking the olivia serie v the other night and as expected the wraper flaked off so i had to toss it and light up another one... oh well I guess ill have to put that on my to smoke list again. have any of you lost a cigar that youve been dying to try?

That's a horrible shame.......that V is one of the best I've smoked yet, definitely invest in another one sometime soon!

Sucks to hear you lost a cigar to hooligans..... On the bright side, the Oliva V should be pretty easy to find a replacement at a local B&M. Should be in the $6 range for the cigar.

I've never lost a cigar like you mentioned.

Unfortunately here in Cali, it's more like $9 per stick for these......but still, worth trying.

yea cali is expensive and unfortuantly in the area i live our B&M's keep their cigars in poor position so ill probably just invest in a 5 pack sometime, but the good news is i still have an amazing sampler that joey put together for me to hold me off for a while
