Robustos
I've been a bit of a contrarian for about as long as I can remember. The more popular something is, the more likely I am to take an almost reflexive dislike to it. It doesn't really matter if it's food, TV shows, cigars, or whatever. It took me a lot of years to realize this about myself. Now that I have, whenever I don't like something, I have to wonder how much of it is because I really don't like it, and how much is me just rebelling against its popularity.
I don't have any sales figures handy, but I'm guessing that the robusto vitola has to be the top seller. If you look at any line of cigars, it's pretty rare for them to not have a robusto, and sometimes it's the only size. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I just don't care for the standard 5x50 robusto. I'll smoke them, if it's all I can get, but it's not going to be my first choice. In fact, it's hard to say which I like less, robustos or Churchills. They're both just 'wrong' sizes for me. I've said before, I'm a pretty slow smoker, and a Churchill takes me about two hours, and I find I get tired of them before they're done, even when it's a cigar that I really like. With the robusto, they always seem like they get done before I do, just when I'm really getting into them. Maybe I'm just stubborn.

Re: Robustos
I agree. With Robustos I feel I didn't really get my money's worth, but the Chruchhill takes way too long. The Toro has been my size of choice.

Re: Robustos
Lanceros, coronas, lonsdales, and toros... those are a few of my favorite things. I've never been much of a robusto fan either.

Re: Robustos
I like Robustos and Belicosos when I am smoking NC's. For CC's, I don't think you can beat a Corona or Petite Corona, just something about the small RG cubans.

Re: Robustos
With a Robusto, it seems that when the cigar is just starting to get it tastiest, it's gone.
