New Sticks Out There

Recently a bunch of new sticks have hit the retailers and there are a bunch worth mentioning. The Punch UpperCut is a good medium smoke at a great price point. CAO has just come out with a Traviata that is a good smoke at a great price point, around five dollars. The Camacho Connecticut, another decent stick was out a little earlier. The Siglo Maduro is a pretty respectable smoke if a lighter medium smoke is more your liking. This stick is fairly recent. The regular Siglo has been out for about five months. JC Newman has just came out with the Brickhouse, resurrecting an old brand of theirs-over 60 years old. This new version is a Nicaraguan that changes up slightly and is a decent medium to full smoke. Their El Baton, out about eleven months, is a little fuller, another Nicaraguan, non-Fuente product that also is pretty darn good at a very reasonable price point. This was initially distributed thinly and only now seems to be popping up at more shops. It seems that almost every week now new sticks are hitting the shelves. The Camacho Room 101 is a new offering for the medium to full smokers that is a refreshing change in the Camacho line. In the slightly higher price mode Altadis is distributing the Frank Llenza spelling may be off on this one). It is a great flavorful smoke with excellent construction. A pleasure to smoke. Alex Bradley has his Family Blend and Vice Press out for the medium to full smokers. I know a bunch of smokers that like them though they are not my favorites. Then again,The Tempus , didn't do it for me and I know a bunch of guys that like that stick. Rocky is out with a bunch of new sticks his 1961, Autumn Collection 2009, and the Patel Brothers cigar which should hit the shops in a month. A lot of new choices for us!

Oh Great! I'll just add them to the other 10 or 20 thousand brands / blends I have yet to try.
