Bought My First 2 Smokes

Went in my local B&M today. Chatted with the owner a bit. Told him I was new to cigars. I asked him to pick out 2-3 cigars that would be good to try. He told me to try the Arturo Fuente Double Chateau, and the Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Champagne. I will be smoking these this weekend. I got both in a Churchill. Not sure why. Just figured I should start with one size and see if I like it.

Good luck to you. Its always exciting the first time you go to a b and m. Its so very confusing. I am only now getting comfortable in what I am seeing and what everything is. Its almost like being a young child in a very expensive candy store. LOL Enjoy them.

The owner of my local B&M recommended the same Perdomo the first time I asked him...think it was the second "real" cigar I ever smoked! Enjoy the ride...you are on the slippery slope!

The first ten or so that I bought, I would get the largest size they had. I felt I was getting my money's worth. As time went on, I found that I didn't always want such a large smoke. I'll still smoke a Churchill every now and then, but I find that the shorter ones last long enough and I still get what I paid for. I haven't noticed a significantly different taste between the different vitolas.

The Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Champagne is a smooth and creamy cigar, your going to love it. It was one of my first, as well.

nice! the b&m that i first went to got me to smoke a perdomo lot 23, that was pretty good now that i think of it. i should go get one of those today

A friend of mine smokes maybe once a month, therefore, he enjoys a milder cigar (like a beginner probably would). He really like Por Larranaga and Baccarat. You might want to give these a try. Baccarat is too Swisher Sweet to me since it has a sugar-coated head. I also buy cigars for my brother occasionally, he also enjoys the Por Larranaga and Oliva with Connecticut wrapper.
