Re: Cool looking old Cigar.

I dunno if I would ever smoke it, but for $75.00 I'd sure as heck buy one to show off. Too bad about the whole inflation thingy.

I'd smoke the hell out of it, I think I'd probably need someone to hold it for me though.

I wonder how much that would go for today? And do you need an oxyacetylene torch to light it?

When I was on patrol in the jackson heights part of queens new york in the old days, it looks just like "something" the Jamaicans would roll for their amusement. I swear they were not much smaller then that one.

Much regards Jerry

Re: Cool looking old Cigar.

You could mount it on a camera tripod in a greenhouse to keep it humidified. Not sure how the re-light would affect the taste though!?

I assume it's a long fill, but would it be considered a short fill based on the leaf to size of cigar ratio?

that would be the seventies, when they had a huge migration of illegal jamaicans to the area. All you had were drug and gun dealers. It was like the wild west, only a lot more dangerous.

We did something called verticals which is a lot of laughs. yeah right. You would go to a 20 story or so housing project, and walk up the stairwell, all the way to roof and unto the roof. Most of my discharges of my weapons in my career were during these lovely times at 0200 in the morning.

They though nothing about using their guns. This was before most of us wore vests. Its mandatory now. And the firearm we carried was a .38 wheel gun. When the bad guys were using ingram mac 10,s, 45 ,s,, semi automatics, uzis, sawed off shotties, etc.

It wasnt till around the ninties did we get the go ahead for automatic 9mm weapons. Now that is so underpowered. We had to use full metal jacket cartridges which were horrible for policing. After the diallo fiasco, did they allow us to switch to jacketed hollow point.
You cant do police work with full metal jackets. If you do not understand why, just ask, and I will explain.

Much regards Jerry
