I saw this excellent humidor in a consignment shop a week ago and I didn't want to buy it then because I like to think about things a little before I just buy something on the spot. It was a long glass top that looked like it was a display case from a B&M somewhere. It had a great sounding seal and looked beautiful. I would say it probably held 500-700 cigars. They only wanted $40 for it ! I went back today and of course it was gone...

Sounds like I'm alot like you as far as thinking about purchases...

However for $40... I'd snag that one up in a sec!

Sounds like you learned your lesson from now on. Sorry though dude...It does suck that you missed out on it though. I've been there.

Aw man! I really don't think I would have left without it for only $40 unless getting it home was a problem. Then again, that's why I have a truck! Might not look pretty but I can always make room for something.

The only reason I didnt buy it a week ago is because my wife was with me and it is hard to justify buying a fourth humidor at any cost to her...I was sneaking back when she wasnt around....

When it comes to cigar stuff they pretty much have me by hook, line, sinker. For a humidor like that I'd have been all over it and even if it had some "deficiencies" they can be taken care of pretty quickly. Sorry you missed it,,,I would have been sick.

I was sick...I had already prepared a spot for it and everything...I looked all over that store before I asked where it was...She said "we sold that one last week"...must have been right after I left the first time...oh well...

i try not to jump into purchases but a humi that size i would have jumped on for that price. though i don't think i will ever be able to fill something that big. the wife would have defecated on the spot when she saw me bring it home though!!! i did mention to her however that when i graduate and get my career in gear, i intend on buying a larger humi wiht many more sticks, so that when we are being social and entertaining i will have something nice to offer to guests to our home. she thought that sounded like a good idea!

but sorry you missed the boat on that humidor!
