Finally bought my first Padron!

I noticed immediately after joining puff that the Padron anniversary lines were among the most popular cigars out there. I always saw them in my local B&M's but never sacked up and bought one. Well, I finally went out and bought a 1964 Superior Maduro.

I also picked up a Oliva V Double Robusto. Both are new for me and I cant wait to enjoy them!

Congrats. Both are mighty fine cigars. If you decide you just can't smoke them, there is room in my humidor

Enjoy!

Enjoy your last days cause once you smoke a Padron you'll never be the same. Make sure you let us know which one you liked better.

And just in case a steady diet of Anniversaries is a little too hard on your wallet, don't neglect Padron's regular line. Their Churchill and 3000 [I prefer the maduro] take a back seat to no one.

Re: Finally bought my first Padron!

I'll second that. The Padron 3000 Maduro is a mighty fine smoke. Well rounded.

Cheers,
Brad

I've been holding out on getting a really great cigar because I dont think I can appreciate it yet. I've got a lot more lower end cigars I want to smoke before I got for the big daddy Padron.

Same here. I've smoked the Padron 3000's and londres', but I'm holding off untill my palette is more developed before trying one of the really nice, high end cigars. Can't wait for the day tho!!

Re: Finally bought my first Padron!

I'll be honest, you don't need a sophisticated palate to enjoy a 1926 or 1964. Good is good. It doesn't matter if you can describe the cocoa, honey, coffee, cedar, etc. When you taste a good cigar, such as these, you just know. Unfortunately, once you taste a 1926 or 1964 you're just trying to figure out how you can afford to smoke these more than every once in while. Enjoy boys.

Re: Finally bought my first Padron!

Yeah, theres a few cigars I want to enjoy first before taking on the Padron. I don't want to set the bar that high right off the bat.

Re: Finally bought my first Padron!

I've had Padron's, but not one of the anniversary editions. I am 1.5 hours away from any B&M and don't order singles online much, and you rarely see them in 5 or 10 packs online.

Party source has them for a decent price for 5 packs
